The Role

We're looking for a creative, organized, and strategic Email Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for all outbound communications from our platform - including newsletters, marketing emails, course updates, and system notifications.

You'll play a critical role in nurturing our audience of hoteliers, keeping them informed, inspired, and engaged through every step of their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and schedule weekly newsletters, marketing campaigns, and educational content emails
• Manage all email automations, onboarding flows, and transactional messaging (e.g., course signups, reminders, payment receipts, webinar links)
• Work closely with the coaching, product, and community teams to align messaging across the platform
• Ensure every message - from promotional blasts to subtle notifications - is on-brand, helpful, and clear
• Monitor email performance (open rates, CTRs, engagement) and optimize for results
• Maintain clean, well-segmented email lists and manage preferences/unsubscribes
• Draft and manage in-platform messages, alerts, and reminders to enhance the user experience
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in email marketing and copywriting (portfolio or samples required)
• Familiarity with platforms like MailerLite, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar
• Strong grasp of email list segmentation, automation, and A/B testing
• Excellent written English and attention to tone, clarity, and conversion
• Ability to write clear transactional emails, tooltips, and user prompts
• Good understanding of customer journeys and user experience
• Comfortable working across teams and juggling multiple campaigns at once
  
  
  

Preferred (but Not Required)

• Experience writing for a hospitality, travel, or tech-savvy audience
• Knowledge of WordPress, LMS tools, or SaaS communication practices
• Understanding of deliverability best practices and basic HTML for email
• Experience writing in-app or platform notifications
