What You Will Be Doing

The Infrastructure Support Associate (Network) will assist in designing, maintaining, and updating site and global network diagrams. The ideal candidate will also support the participation in related IT documentation tasks. This role is well-suited for someone looking to grow in the network infrastructure domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Document and update physical and logical network diagrams using tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or NetBrain. This includes creation of required documentation templates.
• Develop network documentation including IP address schemas, VLAN maps, data flow diagrams, and interconnect layouts. Ensure diagrams reflect current network state, including changes in hardware, topology, or routing.
• Work closely with network architects and site engineers to gather requirements and validate configurations.
• Maintain an organized repository of network diagrams for audits, change management, and troubleshooting purposes.
• Support network planning, rollout of new sites, and infrastructure upgrades by providing visual layouts.
• Assist in standardizing documentation formats and templates across all regional networks.
• Participate in network reviews, risk assessments, and business continuity planning related to network design.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or or vocational certificate in IT.
• ITIL(v3) certification is desired. Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is required.
• With 1 - 2 years of working experience in Network support, preferably in an end-user facing environment.
• With background in Infrastructure support . Has basic understanding of LAN/WAN concepts, TCP/IP, subnets, and VLANs.
• Has familiarity with network devices such as switches, routers, and access points.
• Has experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, NetBrain), using ITIL processes and procedures, and ServiceNow.
• Must have very good communication skills written and verbal with the ability to communicate with users in a non-technical manner.
