About The Role

As the Network Relations Manager, you will lead Hive Health’s HMO entity’s provider network strategy, driving acquisition, engagement, and retention of healthcare provider. This role is critical to ensuring Hive Health-HPPI maintains a competitive, high-quality provider network that meets member needs and supports company growth. You will oversee a team managing network expansion, contracting, credentialing, compliance, and provider support, while working cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Growth, and Medical Operations teams to deliver seamless outcomes. This leadership position requires both strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You will represent Hive to external providers and partners while ensuring strong internal alignment across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Hive’s provider network strategy, aligning growth and service goals with business objectives
  • Build and manage strong, collaborative relationships with hospitals, clinics, and physicians to ensure provider engagement and retention
  • Lead negotiations and contract management, securing competitive agreements that comply with regulatory and company standards
  • Supervise and develop the provider relations team, ensuring effective workload management, skills development, and performance tracking
  • Oversee provider lifecycle processes including network growth, accreditation, credentialing, compliance, and support
  • Resolve escalated provider concerns related to claims, payments, and operations, coordinating with internal teams to drive solutions
  • Monitor and report on network KPIs such as geographic coverage, provider satisfaction, utilization, and cost efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in provider experience, operational workflows, and overall network performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Growth, and Medical Operations teams to support company-wide objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, healthcare, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in operations, account management, partnerships, business development, or a leadership role in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience handling contracts or agreements preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Comfortable working with data and using systems or tools to track performance and drive improvements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external partners
