Network Operations Analyst

The Network Operations Analyst position at Manulife's Global Operations Command Center offers a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure. This role is crucial to our mission of ensuring seamless operations by proactively reducing P1/P2 incidents through vigilant monitoring and regular health checks. Position Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure components both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Provide 24/7 operational services in collaboration with the team.
• Assist Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams with 24/7 monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
• Resolve incidents within SLA timelines, including automating and improving existing processes.
• Offer 1st level support for network infrastructure issues related to switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and access points.
• Manage third-party vendors, including Telcos, to ensure timely incident resolution.
• Conduct daily network health checks and basic maintenance plans.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the IT field, preferably in managing network infrastructure and security operations.
• Solid experience in supporting complex network environments, with strong knowledge in routing and switching technologies like BGP and OSPF, and various network security technologies and systems and must have experience with firewalls and Cisco.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
• No licenses required.
• Work Arrangement: Full On-Site
• Shift schedule: Rotating shifts to cover 24/7 operations (Day/Mid/Night)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Cisco, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, MS certification (desired but not required).
• Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow tool.
• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across multiple platforms.
• Experience with platforms such as Cisco networking, Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Fortigate firewalls, F5 Load balancer, Azure Cloud, Zscaler, Aruba, and SDWAN infrastructure.
