Job Description

Leads resolution of Network recurring issues. Assess and declares Vulnerability of the Network. And recommends for network designs. Informed and leads resolution of network performance, alarms and problems of the territory

Duties And Responsibilities

Budget Management

  • Planning of the section’s annual CAPEX and OPEX requirement.
  • Managing CAPEX use in accordance to budget plan.
  • Managing the day-to-day operational expenses in accordance to budget plan.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly budget performance.
  • Facilitating monthly budget review and assessment.
  • Planning and managing the implementation of OPEX reduction and cost-saving programs.


Internal Project Management

  • Leading in the identification and planning of internal projects in accordance to department and division goals.
  • Driving and monitoring of internal projects in accordance to target timelines.
  • Presentation of high level progress report to Regional Head and CNO COE.


People Management

  • Planning and establishing of performance evaluation metrics in accordance to department and division KRA.
  • Planning and implementation of culture development programs in accordance to company mission, vision and values.
  • Assessment of staff competency profile and crafting of a competency development plan in accordance to functional. responsibilities
  • Development of a succession plan at section level.


Operational Management

  • Participate and represent the section in strategic business and operational planning and discussions at division and department level.
  • Planning the section’s predictive, preventive and corrective strategies in accordance to department and division goals.
  • Planning and managing the implementation of the manning and shifting schedule of the section in accordance to established operational strategies.
  • Planning the program scope and monitoring the implementation of operational routines.
  • Planning the program scope and monitoring the implementation of the preventive maintenance plan.
  • Designing the corrective maintenance plan and monitoring its execution in accordance to the established SLA.
  • Leading and facilitating vulnerability review at section level.
  • Planning and managing the implementation of vulnerability-mitigating programs.
  • Monitoring and reporting of operational performance.
  • Review and assessment of operational performance and leading in the crafting of necessary action plans.
  • Driving operational excellence.
  • Leading and facilitating process-improvement review at section level.
  • Planning and managing the implementation of process-improvement initiatives.
  • Designing and managing the implementation of an effective communication and escalation plan.
  • Facilitate coordination channels to and from other operations and business units.
  • Decide on administrative and operational matters concerning the section.
  • Take charge of the escalation of issues and concerns to ROH as needed and as prescribe in the division’s escalation protocol.


Project Support

  • Establish and monitor implementation of access and activity guidelines.
  • Establish a project implementation review process in accordance to industry and company standards and monitor its compliance.
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure availability during installation, commissioning and acceptance stages of projects.


Business Continuity Management

  • Represent the section in coordinating with internal and external BCMS auditors.
  • Lead in the crafting of the section’s business continuity plan in accordance to the Business Continuity Management System protocol.
  • Prepare and manage the implementation of the BCMS readiness and accreditation plan.
  • Plan and manage the implementation of BCMS exercises.
  • Manage the resolution of BCMS audit call-outs in accordance to specifications and timelines.


OSP Program Management

  • Planning and monitoring the implementation of OSP Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Monitoring the implementation of OSP rehabilitation and redundancy program.
  • Coordinate with 3rd-party on OSP-related concerns.


Material Management

  • Monitor material inventory and usage in the region.
  • Oversee the material management process in the region.

  • eSAT & icSAT engagement

Budget Management:

  • Development and execution of predictive, preventive, and corrective strategies.
  • Planning and monitoring of manning and shifting schedules to align with operational strategies.
  • Designing and overseeing the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance plans.


Business Continuity Management

  • Crafting and implementation of the section's business continuity plan.
  • Coordination with internal and external BCMS auditors and management of BCMS exercises.
  • Resolution of BCMS audit call-outs within specified timelines.


OSP Program Management

  • Planning and monitoring of OSP preventive maintenance and rehabilitation programs.
  • Coordination with third parties on OSP-related concerns.
  • Oversight of material inventory and usage in the region.
