Why does this role exist?
This role was created to support the firm’s growing marketing and content production needs by managing multiple podcast and video projects and enhancing their digital presence. The Freelance Multimedia Producer & Social Media Marketing Specialist will ensure the seamless production, editing, and distribution of multimedia content while supporting broader marketing and administrative initiatives. This position enables the firm to maintain a consistent, high-quality output across platforms, engaging audiences and amplifying the firm’s brand.
The Impact you’ll make
Podcast & Video Production Management
- Coordinate topics and session notes with podcast hosts.
- Assist with recording technical setup and manage on-screen materials during sessions.
- Oversee outsourced video editing, asset collection, and episode revisions.
- Export final audio, generate transcriptions for SEO, and create episode thumbnails.
- Publish episodes on YouTube, BuzzSprout, and social media with tailored copy.
- Produce and edit promotional short-form videos (e.g., YouTube Shorts, TikTok).
- Manage publishing schedules across YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Optimize content for platform engagement and SEO.
- Assist with social and video content production for wider marketing initiatives.
- Support administrative tasks including presentations, graphics, and spreadsheet formatting.
- Conduct research related to events, podcast guests, and speaking opportunities.
- Help maintain project timelines, trackers, and deadlines.
- Work closely with the marketing team, podcast hosts, and external video editor.
- Provide regular updates and communicate proactively to ensure aligned workflows.
Required:
- Proven experience in podcast production and video editing, including use of tools like Riverside.FM and BuzzSprout.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva and Photoshop for content creation.
- Strong familiarity with major social media platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, TikTok) and content optimization best practices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.
- WFH Set-Up:
- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
- Technical proficiency with podcast recording, audio/video editing, and graphic design.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactively communicate, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with an eye for compelling digital content and platform-specific optimization.
- You thrive in a remote role with flexible workflows but structured deadlines.
- You enjoy wearing multiple hats across production, marketing, and administrative support.

Work Setup:
- Remote position
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- $7 per hour
