Multimedia Design Specialist

The Multimedia Design Specialist is responsible is instrumental in crafting a cohesive and impactful visual identity for our brand across all platforms, both physical and digital across multiple platforms, including web, social media, and print. This role involves designing graphics, animations, and videos to support marketing campaigns and corporate communications, ensuring alignment with brand standards and marketing objectives. The multimedia design specialist shall wear many hats, from conceptualizing designs to meticulously executing them, while also managing our social media presence and fostering a vibrant online community.

SKILLS

●   Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for design, with an understanding of what makes content visually arresting and shareable online.

●   Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar).

●   Strong communication and collaboration skills.

●   Excellent time management and organizational skills.

●   A thumb on the pulse of social media trends and viral content

●   knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and keyword research

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, Visual Design or equivalent discipline;

·   Minimum 2 – 3 years of working experience in the related field;

·   Proficient in use of Apple Mac OS or Windows with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, Premier) and Acrobat, Quark, Freehand, Corel Draw or equivalent;

·   Familiar with GUI design and dynamic UI creation;

·   Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design styles and project execution.

·   Experience in social media management and community engagement.

·   Experience in Tech, Ecommerce, SaaS is a plus

·   Strong web graphics production capability and exprience with Flash and Photoshop;

·   Proficiency in social media platforms, content creating, community management, analytic tools, and copywriting is crucial. 

·   Demonstrated creativity, strategic thinking, and adapatability in managing social media channels effectively.
