Job Description
- Database Management: Oversee and maintain Oracle databases and data warehouses, optimizing performance and scalability.
- BI Solutions: Provide operational and technical support for business intelligence tools like OBIEE, OAS, OAC, and Oracle WebLogic.
- ETL Processes: Monitor and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure accurate data flow from source systems to the data warehouse. Troubleshoot and resolve non-data-related errors.
- Performance Optimization: Enhance data warehouse and BI solution performance through query optimization, database tuning, and monitoring.
- Infrastructure Management: Configure and maintain Oracle WebLogic to support OBIEE applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and data scientists to deliver effective BI and data warehouse solutions at scale.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record as an Oracle Data Warehouse Specialist or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and database management.
- Data Management: Familiarity with data security, compliance, and data governance best practices.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication, and collaboration skills.
- System Knowledge: Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Emerging Technologies: Experience with big data technologies and cloud-based data warehouse or lake house solutions.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Oracle Database, Oracle BI, or related technologies (a plus).
