The work:
The position is responsible for supporting the Project application. Involvement in supporting the application requires collaboration with application developers, product architects, operations and technical staff, project managers, account executives, third party vendors and customers. The position requires getting functional, operational, and administrative direction and supervision from team lead but is expected to work with high levels of independence.
Candidate is expected to:
Regularly query for new Incidents and review each item appropriately
Research and resolve Incidents according to SLA, team SOP and guidelines
Provide regular status of each assigned INC and escalate as necessary
Timely coordination of progress, resolution, and production impact to all stakeholders
Provide assistance to other team members in area(s) of functional expertise
As operational analyst, candidate is expected to:
Support client’s products functionally by responding to escalated issues
Actively participate in on-call duties and regular rotation
Follow procedure for assigning, researching, and resolving issues as specified in the SOPs
Appropriately act on key SLA deliverables for each online and batch processing client
Assist in recovery efforts
Here’s what you’ll need:
Graduate of any IT course or any similar degree with relevant IT exposure
3-4 years IT experience with at least 2 years of relevant technical experience
Willing to coordinate rotating schedules including afternoon shift, on-call for nights, holidays and weekends
Has relevant exposure and experience in Azure Cloud
Has relevant exposure in Operational Networking and Windows Server 2008 technology
Has relevant exposure in IBM websphere and IIS technology
Strong English speaking and writing skills
Works well under pressure , possess high-energy and strong self confidence
Team player and collaborative
Solid multi-tasking and problem resolution abilities
Airline industry exposure is a plus
Competency working in a client-server environment
Ability to query and research data in a relational database model
