Job Description
- Responsible in processing Purchase Order of Local Outright/Consignment suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers regarding sales promotions, marketing support and other related concerns.
- Source new suppliers based on the market trends and maintain good relationship with existing suppliers
- Check stock availability, monitor and follow-up delivery of orders
- Interact, address and deal with stores and suppliers on product inquiries, orders and daily concerns
- Review inventories and orders as required
- Coordinate with MIS in creation of suppliers’ new items, item and price revisions
- Conducts store visits and competitor price checking as needed
- Perform other tasks as instructed by department head from time to time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business related courses
- With at least 2yrs experience in merchandising/purchasing/procurement
- With experience/knowledge on furniture & appliance
- With good communication skills
- Must be computer literate
- Willing to do field work for canvassing
