OVERVIEW:

  1. Responsible for providing clients with technical support on the equipment and clinical application questions across a wide range of indications. This includes on-site application support and training of medical professionals (users).
  2. Assess and help resolve any clinical issues with existing customers

FUNCTIONS:

  1. Coordinate with Product Specialist to acquire all information regarding new product specifications or modifications of existing products.
  2. Develop and implement training programme (workshops and conferences) for customers to maintain desired levels of customer satisfaction and reference ability.
  3. Conduct operator and application training for internal (employees) and external customers.
  4. Provide remote and on-site application and troubleshooting support for customers.
  5. Prepare and update training syllabus and literature materials for effective training via feedback from internal and external customers.
  6. Prepare training reagents and samples for in-house training and product demonstration.
  7. Conduct and assists product demo/presentation/evaluation/trials/study for customers.
  8. Ensure all pending and repeating troubleshooting calls are managed and solved promptly.
  9. Ensure that existing customer and new customer base are supported with prompt and quality service in a planned and pro-active manner.
  10. Develop effective troubleshooting strategies to minimize repeated troubleshooting calls to increase customer satisfaction.
  11. Assist Product/Marketing Manager in communicating Product Information/Updates contained in the Product Bulletins, Product Management Letters, Quality Notifications, Support Notifications and Marketing Letters.
  12. Implementation of product changes such as reagent updates and re-assignment values
  13. Ability and knowledgeable of basic IT software
  14. Proper submission of reports.
  15. Assist of Safety Officer with Product Advice Notices and Product Complaint Handling. Entry and reporting of product complaints.
  16. Any other tasks assign by the management

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
  2. Must have experience in a laboratory setting
  3. Willing to do field work to visit accounts and be able to assist in troubleshooting

4. Good communication and listening skills and effective organizational and

presentation skills

5. Technical understanding of diagnostic machines and ability to navigate operating system

6. Good knowledge on computer software and hardware

7. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Spreadsheet, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

8. Independent and confident with dealing with people and professionals in the

medical field

9. Willing to work on holidays and weekends and available for emergency / urgent calls

*With a PLUS point advantage but not required

10. Licensed Medical Technologist

11. With a valid Phil. Driver’s License
