The Marketplace Coordinator is a true pioneer, strategy-minded, and a merchant through and through.

You are leading the charge of building this new division, getting it up and running, and constructing the foundations for your team’s future success.

You are highly commercial with a laser-sharp focus on driving revenue, building business, and finding continuous ways to deepen your client’s relationships with us. You identify potential partners and assist in closing and onboarding new accounts. You enjoy both the hunting and gathering of new business and internally can be seen as a trusted and reliable resource for the growth and development of strategic accounts.

You are a guru when it comes to all things Marketplace and have sound knowledge of the international e-Commerce leaders. Your client’s needs are always at the forefront of your mind and you ensure proper and timely communications with them whenever platform changes occur that will impact their strategy.

You enjoy working hard, are not fearful of acting with minimum planning, and regularly sieve more opportunities than others. Organizing comes easily to you; you can orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal. You are knowledgeable in current and possibly future practices, trends, technology, and information that affect your business. You are aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.

DAILY TASKS

  • Create, edit, and update product listing content to ensure retail-readiness for the entire product catalog.
  • Optimize and manage client’s Marketplace accounts.
  • Manage eCommerce catalogs to ensure optimal search content and search ranking.
  • Create and maintain listings for new products on different marketplaces, including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Newegg.
  • Engage in client calls and emails on assigned brands to ensure a complete understanding of brand’s goals and expectations.
  • Provide insights as a product expert to support brand growth and sales acceleration.
  • Create keyword-rich content for product descriptions, page titles, and content pages.
  • Research and understand brands through and through to act as a brand extension.
  • Brainstorm and implement proactive, innovative ways to push brands forward on all platforms.
  • Manage all client communications, including meetings, emails, and calls.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally across all divisions of the account as required.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key stakeholders.


Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years eCommerce / Marketplace experience
  • Accustomed to operating in a fast-moving, client-facing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Business, or related subject preferred.
  • Deep understanding of e-Commerce space, maturing start-up environment, trends, and technology
  • Detailed experience of eCommerce Marketplaces necessary
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills.
  • Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office etc.). Intermediate or advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and foster new relationships and deepen existing ones.
  • Proven track history of driving your own professional and personal development
