Job Description: Marketing Assistant
Support Marketing Campaigns:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns (digital and traditional).
- Create content for marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and blog posts.
- Coordinate and manage email marketing campaigns, including creating newsletters and tracking results.
Market Research:
- Conduct research on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
- Gather and analyze data to help inform marketing strategies and decisions.
- Prepare reports based on market insights to support marketing efforts.
Social Media Management:
- Assist with content creation and scheduling for social media platforms.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with online communities.
- Track social media metrics and help analyze performance.
Content Creation:
- Write, proofread, and edit marketing copy for websites, emails, and advertisements.
- Assist with the creation of visual assets for marketing purposes (e.g., social media graphics, presentations).
Event Coordination:
- Assist in organizing and managing events such as trade shows, webinars, and conferences.
- Help with logistics, materials preparation, and event promotion.
Administrative Support:
- Help manage schedules for marketing team meetings and events.
- Maintain marketing databases and files.
- Assist with budget tracking and invoicing for marketing expenditures.
Collaboration:
- Work with other departments (sales, design, content, etc.) to support integrated marketing efforts.
- Communicate with external vendors, and partners as needed.
Campaign Analysis:
- Assist in tracking the performance of campaigns and advertising initiatives.
- Help prepare analytics reports, and suggest improvements based on findings.
Qualifications for Marketing Assistant:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing, analytics).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience: Previous internships or entry-level experience in marketing is a plus.
- Creative & Analytical: Ability to contribute ideas and analyze marketing performance.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) and CRM systems is beneficial.
