JOB PURPOSE

The Market Quality Operation (MQO) Lead focuses on Quality in the market operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring and providing technical quality support to assembling operations, repacking operations, customers, Brand Building and local Brand Development (for promotions, INCs, local jewels) for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, Cold Chain compliance, regulatory compliance, care line support, on-shelf assessments and incident management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deploy UL Quality Strategy through specific projects and targets.
  • Support Quality links to MCO and SC GTM Strategy.
  • Communicate regulatory requirements and ensure compliance at manufacturing sites and logistics.
  • Lead/participate in Quality interventions like reviews, workshops, and training.
  • Resolve Quality issues in re-packers, assemblers, and suppliers.
  • Support Quality processes for innovations and promotional items.
  • Ensure on-shelf audits for new innovations and promotions.
  • Verify compliance with UL Quality Standards in third-party operations.
  • Resolve procurement issues and assess supplier capabilities.
  • Conduct marketplace product assessments and activate improvement projects.
  • Define PQS for Secondary Packaging based on customer needs.
  • Interface with Consumer/Customer care lines for feedback and alerts.
  • Prepare Quality documents for cross-border imports and monitor ongoing quality.
  • Develop Quality improvement activities based on marketplace data.
  • Support cold chain quality from distribution centers to points of sale.
  • Lead Quality improvement projects for business complaints and on-shelf PQS.
  • Manage quality issues with customers and channels.
  • Provide Quality requirements for product returns and disposition approval.
  • Prepare reports on quality issues and ensure improvement plans.
  • Monitor and analyze product quality data to initiate improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance of UL Quality Management System in warehouses and distribution centers.
  • Conduct technical capability assessments for third-party providers.
  • Lead Pallet Quality Improvement initiatives using KPI data and trends.
  • Support local product quality incident management and reporting.

Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering/ Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain Quality / Quality logistic / Quality engineering
  • Experience in Warehouse and Logistics
  • Digital Skill
  • Additional experience in SC or RD
