Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and run the fab floor with the primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts.

Job Summary:
onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and run the fab floor with the primary responsibility of resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift positions working a compressed week of 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work with Test and Product Engineers to support manufacturing KPI
- Perform Tester Diagnostics and Tester maintenance activities
- Perform Probe equipment setup, calibration and maintenance activities.
- Perform, and teach others how to perform, preventive maintenance activities
- React to error messages of factory systems and/or equipment
- Perform, and teach others how to perform, visual inspections (quality check)
- Recover from process and tool interruptions
- Identify and address potential areas for improvement and optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost
- Complete all required reporting and documentation
- Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements
- Actively participate in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development
- Strong team member, able to work well with a global team, train new team members as needed, and other duties as assigned
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs
- Graduate of Technical Courses/ Technology Graduate
- Proficiency in basic electronics and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Preferably with knowledge in product testing and troubleshooting.
- Work experience in Semiconductor Probe/Wafersort process is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Test platforms ASL, ETS, Fettest Testers
- Familiarity with Prober platform EG, TEL Probers
- Familiarity with AOI machine Icos, Camtek
- Excellent interpersonal skills, resilient, adaptable, trainable and can coordinate effectively with cross functional team
- Flexible and must have strong multitasking, problem solving and time management skills.
