Manual Quality Assurance Engineer (f/m/d)

You will join the Cloud Quality Team responsible for ensuring the quality of the IONOS Cloud Platform, one of our most strategic products. As a new leadership role, this position offers the opportunity to build a QA team from scratch, shape its culture and processes, and collaborate directly with development and product teams. You will work in a hybrid setup from our Cebu office, with close collaboration across international IONOS teams.

Tasks

• Design and execute manual test cases for web applications.
• Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts.
• Perform regression and cross-browser testing to ensure consistent UX.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with developers and the QA Team Lead.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Participate in testing the DCD and integrations with the API.
  
  

Qualifications

• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools
• Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches and tools.
• Familiarity with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using the command line.
• Cloud platform experience (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Advantageous if you possess:
• Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience working in a monolith architecture.
• Experience with Cypress or TestCafe
