Get to Know the Team

The Visayas Transport team ensures a healthy balance between supply and demand in Grab's Transport business. We analyze both driver and passenger behavior to guide decisions that boost growth, efficiency, and profitability.

On the supply side, we manage and optimize driver operations through allocation, incentives, and performance improvement. On the demand side, we drive usage through product features and promotions. Your work also involves handling special projects beyond primary responsibilities.

Get to Know the Role

You will collaborate with our driver-facing teams, including Driver Operations and Marketing, and other key partners. You will report directly to the Head of Regional Operations and be based at our Pioneer House office in Cebu City.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Data & Financial Analysis: Track key metrics (GMV, RPR, CPR), assess performance, and conduct impact analyses and financial modeling.
  • Project Leadership: Lead growth-focused projects and drive reporting and process improvements.
  • P&L & Subsidy Management: Oversee Visayas 2W/4W Transport P&L and DAX subsidy performance.
  • Marketplace Optimization: Run supply experiments and implement strategies to balance supply and demand.
  • Partner Collaboration: Align with different teams and communicate trade-offs and priorities.
  • On-ground Engagement: Gather user insights from rider-partners and operators to improve services.
  • Product Support: Partner with product teams to launch and localize new features.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science, or other related fields
  • At least 3 or more years of experience in a business environment, preferably in a strategic, business operations, or business development role
  • Good business acumen and a burning curiosity about data
  • Experience working at/building a startup business preferred
  • Ability to create business cases and models on special projects geared for business growth
  • Familiar with financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing cause-and-effect simulation
  • Economics, statistics, or business background would be a plus
  • MBA graduate would also be a plus
