Job Summary
Manage the development and formulation of chemical products to meet customer expectations and support sales performance

Bachelor's degree in Applied Science/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Food Engineering or related field
Manage the development and formulation of chemical products to meet customer expectations and support sales performance
General Responsibilities
- Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicable
- Manage overall generation and formulation of new commercial applications and products to provide additional revenue for the company
- Monitor product formulation guidelines and procedure compliance in order to improve existing products, reduce cost, improve performance or simplify manufacturing
- Manage product formulation for laboratory-scale and pilot-scale testing to ensure good service/reliability
- Manage implementation of product development projects to ensure efficient resource planning and meet project schedules
- Compile/review latest product trends, ingredients or new development processes to identify product improvement
- Manage technical training for the sales team to upgrade their technical capabilities and product knowledge
- Ensure laboratory equipment and safety protocol adherence to ensure all product designs meet safety and regulatory requirements
- Co-visit key customers with sales to provide advisable technical information and solutions to customers
- Demonstrate working knowledge of industry and products
- Demonstrate knowledge of scientific, chemical and laboratory methods
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
