Position Summary Statement

Responsible for initiating, planning, developing and localizing/implementing the Herbalife Marketing programs which are in line with the Corporate/Regional strategies, to meet local market and distributor needs in order to grow Herbalife sales and achieve its distributors’ ultimate business goals.

Efficiently oversees all local marketing related projects and activities which includes identifying market opportunities and proposing launch of new products in Philippine market that will help augment gaps in terms of market segmentation.

Creatively develops marketing support tools, such as collaterals and other branding materials that will impact sales. He/ She develops marketing strategies and launch plans for every new product ,maintain and explore new sponsorships and initiate activities , projects and product promotions which best meet the needs of the Philippine market and business.

He/She prudently manages the departmental budgets and costs.

Competently contributes to the achievement of marketing targets based on forecasted market trends and distributors’ market analysis.

He / She consults senior management on history and current developments and trends while giving consideration on distributors feedback.

Enhances the image of Herbalife as a nutrition company through increasing brand awareness through updated advertisements , social media and internet marketing ( live website ) while effectively educating distributors thru product information dissemination .

Closely coordinates with APAC counterparts – Brand , Product , Internet Marketing Teams, GRA team to be aligned with them at all times.

PCP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop the new sales channel strategies and business development plans (digital & offline channels) with focusing on defined customer group to broaden product/brand penetration and grow sales.
  • Initiate tactics and campaigns to drive high quality product experiences across customer touchpoints and achieve the assigned metrics (revenue, number of new customers, conversion rate, active rate, repeat orders and customer satisfaction and engagement level...etc.).
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to outline the opportunities or campaigns in terms or promotions, brand activities, training, or product launches to address the defined customer’s expectations and satisfaction.
  • Campaigns & projects manage and communicate the schedule and deliverables to all stakeholders involved in the campaigns, to ensure a fully integrated campaign is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide the insights and recommendations based on industry news and trend forecasts and be able to turn them into business opportunities and contribute to metrics.
  • Create an environment and communication platforms where customers want to share their inspiring successes or recommendations to our future or potential customers.
  • Able to manage budget plan and conduct the post campaign/promotion performance analysis and be able to present the findings, results, and enhancements to leadership teams.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly leads and supervise Brand Marketing Supervisor, Product Marketing Supervisor and Internet Marketing Coordinator.

Organizational Relationships

Interacts with all levels throughout organization, including Home Office and Regional Office, distributors, customers and vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

  • University graduate or equivalent, preferably with Business or Marketing background.
  • At least 8 years of work experience in marketing, 4 years in management position. Prior experience in Network Marketing/Direct Selling or FMCG or Retail Sales or Nutritional Food Industry would be an added advantage.
  • Must be bilingual with ability to read and write in Filipino and English fluently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office environment (Word, Excel, Power Point) and email.
  • Must be “Hands-on” with excellent leadership and motivates the team with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be sufficiently bi-cultural to be equally at ease and socially comfortable with the local team and distributors/customers plus other nationalities esp. International Distributors, within a multinational working environment.
  • Must be customer service oriented and flexible especially in dealing with Local and International distributors.
  • Highly energetic and possesses the enthusiasm to understand the market thoroughly, as well as the ability to keep in close contact with distributors/customers, so as to gain first-hand knowledge of the market.
  • Ability to develop business strategies and plans, at the same time ensuring proper execution of strategies to meet goals.
  • Ability to create new ideas and processes ie. creative, entrepreneurial, and with the ability to think “out of the box”.
  • Good problem solving skills and carry out responsibilities under minimum supervision.
  • Must be a team player and highly capable to collaborate closely with and provide support for the other departments.
  • Should be able to work in results oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work long hours and occasionally during weekends.
