Primary Responsibilities:
- Implements policy, program, and projects (may it be generated by the Department or the Top Management) that directly bring cost savings and efficiency in the logistics process, such as but not limited to, freight, land trucking, and charter flight.
- Ensures that the shipment is delivered to the end-user at least effort, on time, and cost-effectively.
- Manages a 24/7 office to handle AOG situations that require transport, exportation, and importation of aircraft parts, materials, and equipment.
- Works with Engineering Procurement to source, tender an RFP, and select potential freight forwarders & transport providers that can offer solutions and reliable services with very competitive rates.
- Preferably has at least two (2) years of managerial experience or 5 years of supervisory experience.
