Join our dynamic Indirect Procurement (GBS) team, where we drive efficiency and excellence in supporting North America's business needs. As a high-performance team, we handle everything from purchase requisitions to third-party risk assessments. Where you come in:
- You will build and lead a high-performance GBS team, ensuring all Indirect Procurement transactions are processed efficiently.
- You will manage the procurement team of buyers supporting the US and Canada, ensuring quality and efficiency in their work.
- You will develop team capabilities to be best in class, driving value and performance in all day-to-day activities.
- You will be the subject matter expert for indirect procurement processes and policies.
- You will develop and track effective KPIs, reporting monthly on the team's performance.
- You will analyze spend and transactions, using insights to recommend process improvements.
- You will work closely with IT system support teams, accounts payable, and other cross-functional teams on day-to-day issues and resolutions.
- You will champion the procurement policy, operationalizing it within the team.
- You will build a strong procurement brand in the business by sharing knowledge and thought leadership.
- You will identify and contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within the function.
What makes you successful:
- You are willing to work during US working hours (Pacific Standard Time zone).
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement, with 5 years managing a team.
- You have previous team leader or team management experience in a shared service environment, with strong leadership skills to motivate and train a team.
- You have proven people leadership capabilities to drive operational performance.
- You have experience using e-procurement systems like Coupa, Oracle, or SAP Ariba.
- You have effective internal and external relationship management skills.
- You have strong process management skills.
- You have demonstrated experience using ERP systems and/or Procurement systems.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in verbal and written English.
- You have the ability to multi-task categories and projects.
- Your proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You are familiar with Financial Accounting principles and processes.
- You have a Lean Six-Sigma background, familiar with process mapping and KPI tree build-up.
- You have formal qualifications or training in Purchasing.

Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience
- 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
