Role Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager (Other Geographies) will be responsible for the planning and execution of day-to-day and period-end AP activities including vendor invoice verification and payment, processing of employee-related requests such as reimbursements, cash advance, per diem, replenishment of petty cash and revolving fund for assigned custodians, card transactions and reporting requirements. Adherence to company policies and controls, embracing the mindset of continuous improvement and best practice sharing while investing in personal development are also expected for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees the Accounts Payable (AP) team and ensures timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and expense reports.
- Develops and maintains AP policies and procedures and ensures compliance to company policies
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve any issues related to payments or invoices
- Monitors completion of month-end deliverables and other AP audit requirements and other requests
- Monitor account balances and cash flow to ensure there are adequate funds available to pay vendors
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation and follow up with internal staff to resolve any discrepancies.
- Oversee maintenance of accounts payable records and vendor files. Ensure proper documentation is available for accounting and auditing purposes.
- Track account payable metrics and performance report.
- Works cross-functionally with departments like procurement, general accounting, budget and treasury.
- Leads AP projects/initiatives and recommends Improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Monitoring and optimizing team workflow
- Trains and develops AP team members, including setting performance goals and conducting performance evaluations
- Collaborates with other departments on key initiatives which impacts the AP processes
- Performs tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

Relevant Experience Required
- 10+ years of experience of accounting and/or AP experience
Educational And Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or any Finance-related course
