The job holder is responsible for developing and managing business plans, projects, systems and/or initiatives of significance to the company and the petrochemical industry, in support of key organizational directions and strategies. He/she will regularly coordinate and work with various teams within the JG Summit Petrochemicals Group and the JG Summit conglomerate. He/she will interact with external parties such as government agencies, industry groups and associations, organizations, technology providers, petrochemical manufacturers, traders, vendors and other external parties. Also, he/she is expected to exercise prudence in the handling and provision of sensitive and confidential information; expected to develop an adequate understanding of plant and business operations, manufacturing and support processes, products, raw materials and other inputs, prevailing administrative processes and various management systems in use throughout the organization.
Job Qualifications
ü Bachelor’s degree, preferably graduate of Economics, Business Administration or Management, Statistics/Math, and other economics, business or management-related courses, or Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering or other similar engineering course.
ü Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate, Strategic and/or Business Planning, Business Development, Market and Business Research, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
ü Proficient in data gathering, processing and analysis
ü Strong project management and presentation skills
ü Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skills
ü Highly resourceful, capable problem solver and can work effectively with different teams
ü Knowledgeable in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
ü Willing to work in Ortigas Center; hybrid work arrangement
