The Maintenance Staff is responsible for implementing and completing their assigned maintenance work based on work area or specialization. At times when an outside Contractor is needed to conduct repair works, the Maintenance Technician supervises and monitors their work progress to ensure the project is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES:Perf
- orm maintenance and construction functions including, but not limited to, stopping water leaks, repairing faulty doors, painting, etc.Perf
- orm basic electrical repair functions including, but not limited to, checking, and replacing light fittings and bulbs, cleaning battery terminals, checking and securing sockets, etc.Part
- icipate in designing and creating solutions to maintenance problems in conjunction with other hospital personnel.Assi
- st with purchasing of maintenance supplies and providing accountability for the use of purchased items.Ensu
- re that all tools and equipment are maintained properly.Assi
- st in housekeeping responsibilities associated with keeping the facility clean, sterile, and orderly. Function as Reliever for Housekeeping Staff if needed.Atte
- nd and participate in office devotionals, seminars, in-service education classes, on-the-job training programs, etc. OTHE
- ld the highest standards of quality and efficiency in line with Safecare requirements.Ensu
- re a safe and secure work environment by strictly adhering to infection prevention and control protocols such as but not limited to handwashing, wearing of PPE, etc.Comm

- mum Education Required: Atleast a High School Graduate or equivalent. Lice
- nse/Certification Required; if any: TESDA NCII Certification for any of the enumerated skills is an advantage. Mini
- mum Experience Required: Experience in plumbing, heating, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and/or construction required. Knowledge in biomedical field is a plus. KNOW
- communication skills.Ability to learn new techniques and procedures related to maintenance.Good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow written and verbal directionsAdept at working well independently with minimal supervision.Highly dedicated and hardworking. Willing to work extra hours if needed.With an exceptional work ethic and strong attention to work quality and safety.
