Your Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the logistics and warehousing teams, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products and deliveries;
- Develop and implement effective inventory management and control systems to optimize storage and distribution;
- Liaise with production, sales and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs;
- Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings;
- Manage and motivate the logistics team, providing training, guidance and support to drive high performance;
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets
- Experience managing teams of 10-20 logistics and warehouse staff across multiple shifts
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting
