Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Oversee and ensure efficient transportation of products from plant to warehouse, and warehouse to client, meeting timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishments to prevent shortages, avoid overstocking, and maintain optimal inventory turnover.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure smooth shipment handling and resolve any logistics-related concerns promptly.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Department for timely delivery schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Generate and analyze weekly and monthly inventory and logistics reports from QuickBooks to support operational decisions.
- Maintain updated knowledge of trucking tariffs across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to optimize cost efficiency.
- Forecast weekly and monthly outgoing bookings to ensure resource readiness and effective load planning.
- Implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations related to transport and logistics.
- Mentor and supervise staff to improve departmental performance.
- Troubleshoot logistical challenges and recommend long-term solutions for operational resilience.
- Perform weekly and quarterly meetings for overall KPI
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or administrative roles; experience in a senior or supervisory role is an advantage.
- Strong personality, leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide subordinates.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in inventory systems, report generation, and logistics-related software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- In-depth understanding of transport and logistics operations within the Philippines, including knowledge of tariffs and regulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
