Loan Processor

The Loan Processor is responsible for managing all aspects of the loan application process, ensuring timely and accurate processing from document collection to loan approval. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication to maintain smooth operations and meet closing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Processing:

• Request and verify appraisals, title documents, and insurance for each file.
• Input accurate details into the loan system, ensuring correct mortgage clauses, loan numbers, and amounts.
• Review and qualify all submitted documents (e.g., loan applications, financial statements), correcting errors and updating records in real-time.
• Ensure documents are uploaded and tracked accurately in the loan portal.
  
  
  

Communication & Coordination:

• Maintain open and clear communication with borrowers, underwriters, intake coordinators, and team members to move files efficiently through the process.
• Address all emails and borrower communications within 24 hours, ensuring no missed or flagged messages.
• Answer general and borrower calls, assisting or directing inquiries as needed.
  
  
  

Appraisal & Title Management:

• Monitor the appraisal process through the AMC portal; review, save, and upload appraisals without discrepancies.
• Ensure all title and insurance requests are accurate, complete, and sent promptly.
  
  
  

Compliance & Quality Control:

• Assemble and complete loan files, ensuring all underwriting conditions are met for approval without conditions.
• Perform due diligence on all documents to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Update backer portals daily and work with account executives to resolve any processing issues.
  
  
  

Ad hoc:

• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.
  
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in loan processing or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in loan processing systems and document management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday between 8:30 AM to 5 PM Central Standard Time (CST)
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with hard money lending or mortgage processing.
• Familiarity with platforms like DocuSign and various backer portals.
• Knowledge of AMC systems and loan underwriting guidelines.
  
  
  

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800 - $900 + $50 Allowance per month
