Salmon – Who We Are and What We Do

Salmon is a rapidly growing consumer fintech group, founded in July 2022 with the vision of building the leading credit-led neobank in Southeast Asia. We chose the Philippines as our launch market and are now a licensed consumer lending company, currently working toward securing a full banking license (subject to BSP approval).

Salmon was established by three co-founders who previously built and held senior leadership roles at Tinkoff, a highly successful, tech-driven bank that achieved a market capitalization of over US$20 billion.

Our team is composed of world-class finance and technology professionals from across the globe. We are backed by premier investors, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) — a member of the World Bank Group, ADQ — a sovereign investment company of the Government of Abu Dhabi, and other leading fintech investors.

At Salmon, we are building a technology-driven financial platform designed to operate seamlessly 24/7/365. Our mission is to create thousands of jobs and provide millions of Filipinos with reliable, high-quality access to financial services. We invite you to be part of this journey as we shape the future of finance together.

About the Role – Loan Processing Officer

As a Loan Processing Officer, you will play a key role in driving customer acquisition and loan application conversions through proactive lead management and customer engagement. You will be responsible for handling pre-approved motorcycle loan leads, ensuring a fast response time, and guiding customers through the application process with professionalism and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Calling

  • Conduct timely outbound calls to pre-approved Moto Loan leads assigned via Creatio.
  • Ensure speed-to-first-call ≤5 minutes for new leads.
  • Execute multiple follow-ups (minimum 3 attempts) per lead within the first 48 hours.
  • Maintain accurate call dispositions (answered, rejected, no answer, call back, interested, etc.) in the system.

2. Customer Engagement & Conversion

  • Deliver a professional and compliant telesales script (English/Tagalog) that highlights exclusivity, ease of process, and dealer benefits.
  • Probe to identify the customer’s need for a motorcycle and guide them on available terms, downpayment, and models.
  • Handle objections (e.g., budget, timing, interest rate) using approved rebuttals.
  • Convert interested leads into applications, coordinating next steps with Sales Ambassadors and Booking teams.

3. Coordination & Handoff

  • Schedule follow-up appointments or direct handoff of hot leads to on-ground Sales Ambassadors.
  • Liaise with Verification/Back Office to ensure smooth transition of customer files.
  • Provide daily updates to Team Lead on lead quality and customer objections.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years experience in telesales, outbound calling, or customer service (preferably in financial services, lending, telco, or BPO).
  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills can also be considered if they show the right attitude and coachability.
  • Exposure to consumer lending / motorcycle or auto loan sales is a strong advantage.

Core Skills

  • Communication: Clear, persuasive, and bilingual (English & Tagalog). Able to adjust tone depending on customer type.
  • Sales ability: Can probe needs, handle objections (price, terms, timing), and push towards next steps without being aggressive.
  • Customer service orientation: Balances sales targets with building trust and professionalism.
