The Loan Advisor serves as a trusted financial partner to clients by providing expert guidance on BPI’s retail loan products through digital and remote channels. The role aims to convert qualified leads into successful loan applications by delivering personalized advice, effectively explaining loan terms and benefits, and assisting clients throughout the loan process – from inquiry to booking. This role also identifies opportunities to cross sell complementary bank products that suit the client’s financial goals, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric loan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contacts clients within the established turnaround time (TAT) to initiate loan discussions, and address inquiries and resolve client concerns
  • Reviews client information, verifies the completeness and authenticity of required documents, and ensures timely submission of compliant loan applications to the designated processing team
  • Actively engages with clients to provide clear and comprehensive guidance on loan products, effectively communicating product features, benefits, terms, and conditions to support informed decision-making
  • Applies effective sales techniques to convert leads to successful loan bookings while identifying and offering opportunities to cross-sell other relevant bank products and services
  • Maintains complete and accurate documentation in line with internal policies and QA standards to uphold service quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless loan servicing and cross-selling
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of client data
  • Performs administrative tasks and other functions that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business related courses
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales
  • Knowledge of sales management processes, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with the bank’s products and services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building client rapport and identifying financial needs
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities in evaluating loan eligibility and risk
  • Skilled in digital tools for loan processing, CRM systems, and document verification
