The Opportunity at a Glance
We’re looking for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to provide broad legal and administrative support to a well-established Australian law firm. This is a full-time, remote role for Philippine-based candidates employed under a proper PH setup.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in an Australian law firm who can handle everything from client onboarding and drafting bills to developing SOPs and managing repetitive admin/legal tasks. You don’t need niche legal expertise — general practice experience is acceptable — but you should be dependable, proactive, and comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency. The client values initiative, honesty, and the potential to grow with the firm long-term.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide legal and administrative support across a range of practice areas
Assist with preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and basic research
Support client onboarding, handling compliance documentation and introductory communications
Prepare draft bills and invoices, track time entries, and assist with reconciliations
Develop and refine workflows, systems, and SOPs to streamline operations
Take ownership of repetitive and routine tasks so the leadership team can focus on strategy
Support client engagement through administrative marketing tasks such as email communications and CRM updates
Coordinate with lawyers on scheduling, file management, and matter updates
What We’re Looking For - You’re the Perfect Fit if You:
Have prior legal assistant or paralegal experience in Australia (non-negotiable)
Are an effective communicator with excellent written and verbal English
Are efficient and organised, able to manage multiple tasks at once
Show initiative, honesty, and a proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Are comfortable using AI tools and open to leveraging technology for efficiency
Can balance both high-value support tasks and repetitive admin work with equal dedication
Are eager to commit long-term and grow with the firm
What Sets You Apart - You’ll Shine Even Brighter With:
Experience developing SOPs, workflows, or improving internal processes
Prior involvement in billing, client engagement, or light marketing support
A legal studies or paralegal qualification (advantageous but not essential)
A track record of building strong professional relationships and working with integrity
Work Schedule & Employment Terms
Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Remote role for Philippine-based candidates
