Job Summary

The Learning and Development Trainer at Dermorepubliq plays a critical role in equipping employees with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to perform their roles effectively. This role involves designing and delivering engaging learning experiences across onboarding, technical, and leadership training programs. The Trainer works closely with department heads, subject matter experts, and the broader L&D team to ensure that training content is relevant, impactful, and aligned with Dermorepubliqs standards and strategic goals. The role also contributes to content development and curriculum design to support ongoing learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

New Hire Onboarding:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
  • Coordinate with HR, department managers, and SMEs to customize onboarding by function.
  • Facilitate training on safety procedures, workplace conduct, company policies, and best practices.


Role-Specific and Technical Training:

  • Design and deliver tailored training for different departments, particularly within manufacturing and production.
  • Collaborate with functional leads to assess training needs and align content with operational goals.
  • Conduct hands-on sessions on technical skills, SOPs, quality standards, and GMP protocols.
  • Track learner performance and provide developmental feedback.


Leadership and Soft Skills Training:

  • Deliver learning sessions focused on leadership, communication, problem-solving, and workplace professionalism.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and assist with emerging leader programs.


Curriculum and Content Development:

  • Create and regularly update training curriculum based on evolving needs and regulatory changes.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methods to develop engaging materials.
  • Design multimedia learning resources, including e-learning modules, videos, and simulations.


Training Materials and Logistics:

  • Develop and maintain training manuals, job aids, handouts, and assessment tools using MS Office and visual tools.
  • Manage training logistics, including scheduling, material preparation, and venue or platform setup.
  • Maintain an organized library of learning resources for easy retrieval and reference.


Program Customization and Support:

  • Tailor delivery methods and examples to match learner profiles, team needs, and role-specific functions.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to pilot new content and suggest improvements based on learner engagement and outcomes.


Learner Support and Follow-up:

  • Provide post-training support, coaching, or refresher sessions as needed.
  • Track learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and escalate follow-up needs to the L&D Lead.


Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Use assessments and feedback tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Analyze results to refine content and improve learning outcomes.


Qualification And Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Training, Communication, or a related field.


Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a trainer in a manufacturing or BPO environment.
  • Experience in skincare manufacturing, cosmetics, or FDA-regulated industries is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with cosmetic formulation, production processes, and compliance requirements is beneficial.


Certifications:

  • Certification in training, instructional design, or facilitation is preferred.


Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools and LMS platforms is a plus.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills (in English and Filipino).
  • Confident presenter with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This hybrid role is based primarily in Dermorepubliqs Eastwood Office but may require travel and support across multiple company sites. Flexibility is essential, as training may be scheduled across varying shifts and business units, depending on operational needs.
