Job Title: Learning & Development Consultant (Asst. Manager)

Department: Back Office and Support Department

Reports to (Position of Immediate Superior): Learning & Development Manager

Supervises (Positions of Subordinates): Learning & Development Partners (Training Officers)

Primary Job Responsibility

Accountable for monitoring and ensuring that training is properly conducted to the assigned scope (internal, external, medical).

Supervises Processes And People

  • Process responsibilities include activities such as:
  • Work Unit Planning and Implementation
  • Task Assignment and Scheduling
  • Budget Allocation and Control
  • Problem-solving and Decision-making
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Results
  • Escalating issues and/or risks
  • People responsibilities include activities such as:
  • Developing Team and Individual Skills and Capabilities
  • Mentoring, Coaching and Job-shadowing
  • Engaging and Motivating employees
  • Rating Performance Reviews
  • Monitoring and providing feedback on day-to-day performance
  • Counselling and carrying out Disciplinary Activity

I. Job Description

  • Duties and Responsibilities done at PERIODIC or REGULAR Intervals
  • Reviews all submitted reports regarding internal/vendors/partners/distributors training program
  • Reviews all training modules prepared by the Training Officers
  • Reviews and checks performance of Training Officers
  • Collates data, analyzes, prepares the Post Program Evaluation Results report and submits to Immediate Superior
  • Duties and Responsibilities done at IRREGULAR or INTERMITTENT Intervals needed.
  • Reviews and updates training materials, as needed
  • Establishes LNA Strategies and Implements Continuous Learning and Development Programs as needed.

  • EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

MINIMUM educational level and background required by this POSITION: College Graduate of ANY 4 year-course,

  • EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

PERIOD OF TIME OR LENGTH of related experience the CANDIDATE must acquire before being assigned to and perform the functions of this job, SATISFACTORILY under NORMAL supervision: Three years - Less than 5 years

  • SKILLS REQUIREMENT – TECHNICAL (For Tech and Business Support, Supervisory and Professional)

Seasoned or highly technical: involves MASTERY of theories, trainings, and practices gained

through education, seminars, mentoring, and other special development interventions
