Leads multiple functional teams. Create an engaging environment and culture that focuses on our clients and team members. Monitor their teams performance metrics to ensure quality service and an amazing client experience. The VP will work with other leaders across the organization to ensure a smooth flow of information. They will possess in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry.

The Head of Skills Enablement and Organizational Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive strategies to enhance employee skills, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between the organization’s strategic goals and its human capital capabilities. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and organizational development theories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Effectiveness:
    • Oversees the development and implementation of a robust training evaluation framework to measure the impact of training programs on individual and organizational performance.
    • Analyzes training data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance training effectiveness.
    • Develops and implements strategies to maximize transfer of learning from training to the workplace.
  • Instructional Design:
    • Leads the development and implementation of effective instructional design strategies to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
    • Ensures alignment of training programs with organizational goals and performance objectives.
    • Stays abreast of emerging instructional design trends and technologies to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Skills Need Analysis:
    • Conducts comprehensive skills gap analysis to identify the current and future skills required for organizational success.
    • Develops strategies to address skill deficiencies and build a high-performance workforce.
    • Partners with business leaders to identify talent development needs and priorities.
  • Skills Remediation:
    • Develops and implements targeted remediation programs to address specific skill gaps and improve employee performance.
    • Provides coaching and mentoring to employees to support skill development and career progression.
    • Measures the effectiveness of remediation programs and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Talent Development:
    • Develops and implements a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with the organization’s business objectives.
    • Oversees the design and delivery of leadership development programs.
    • Builds a high-performing talent development team capable of delivering exceptional results.
