Position Summary

The Lead Qualifier plays a critical role in driving the sales pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential leads for the sales team. The ideal candidate combines strong IT knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to engaging prospects. This role ensures that high-quality, pre-qualified leads are passed to the sales team to maximize conversion rates and support business growth.

  • Lead Management & Prioritisation
  • Receive, organize, and prioritize incoming leads from multiple channels.
  • Conduct research to assess potential leads, their needs, and fit with company solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of lead status, interactions, and outcomes within CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Continuously update and manage the lead pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and progression.
  • Engage prospects through outbound calling, emails, and other outreach channels.
  • Conduct qualification calls to understand the prospect’s IT environment, challenges, and business needs.
  • Identify decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential opportunities within target accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure qualified leads are handed over effectively.
  • Provide initial product information and answer basic technical questions, escalating detailed queries to the sales or technical team.
  • Track and report on lead engagement metrics, providing insights to support sales strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • IT background such as IT support, IT operations, service desk, MSP experience, or similar.
  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
  • Good business acumen and ability to understand client needs.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Confidence in outbound calling and sales engagement.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, RMM, PSA, or remote monitoring tools.
  • Prior exposure to tools such as Atera, NinjaOne, N-able, ConnectWise, Autotask, or HaloPSA.
  • Ability or willingness to learn to conduct product demos.
  • Experience in pre-sales or technical account management.
