The Role:
We're searching for a Lab Patient Account Representative who is responsible for accurately entering CPT and ICD-10 codes in Intergy for all patient encounters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We're searching for a Lab Patient Account Representative who is responsible for accurately entering CPT and ICD-10 codes in Intergy for all patient encounters.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data entry of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
- Append specific data such as modifiers, payer specific information, including but not limited to authorization criteria, Category II CPT codes, date of injury (DOI), referring provider, and NDC codes. Reconcile encounters daily verifying completeness and accuracy.
- Identify abnormalities or mismatched entries, following up with the appropriate person(s) to obtain the complete information. Achieve goals set forth by supervisor regarding error-free work, transactions, processes and compliance requirements and value-based care agreements.
- Strive to achieve and maintain individual goals and benchmarks, including charge entry within 1-2 days of provider sign off.
- 2-3 years medical charge entry, medical billing or related medical experience
- HIPAA Certification, preferred
