Your Role:


As an L2 IT Helpdesk Technician, you will:


Manage the IT Service Desk - Remote support and troubleshooting for operating hotels as the first point of contact for all IT issues.Manage the IT Service Desk - Remote support and troubleshooting for operating hotels as the first point of contact for all IT issues.

  • Provide 24-hour / 7-day on-call support on a rotating basis for Critical business issues only.
  • IT Administration and Asset Logistics:
  • Administer onboarding / offboarding user ID’s & passwords, system access for the various applications used, ensuring system security is maintained.
  • Setup hardware as purchased and ensure Company standards/configurations are used (remotely)
  • Maintain Endpoint Protection Products, End Point Protection, Mobile Device Management, and Remote management. Check the daily reports and action on any threats found. Ensure the latest Software, Policies and updates are being applied.
  • Maintain an up-to-date asset list of all computer hardware.
  • Administer procurement requests with vendors.
  • System monitoring and Maintenance:
  • Check and Maintain Updates for all systems, patch servers with recommended windows Security patches and reboot servers once applied.
  • Routinely check backups are performed periodically and completed without error. Errors are to be investigated and rectified or escalated.
  • Check and monitor servers for faults; resolve or escalate to Level 2 or vendors as required.
  • o Ensure an up-to-date network schematic & IT Hardware documentation is maintained in a neat & orderly fashion.
  • Property Management Systems + Interfaces to systems
  • Point of Sale Systems
  • Electronic Door Locking System.
  • Hotel IT Security Systems including alarms and CCTV
  • Back Office Accounting Systems
  • PABX systems including Guest and Administration Voicemail
  • Network management including routers, switches, VPN, Firewalls and cabling
  • Responsible Business
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Pro-invest Group safety standards.
  • Maintain exemplary department standards of behavior and appearance and attitude as expected by Pro-invest Group’s code of conduct.
  • Maintain all procedures and adheres to them within the Pro-invest Hotel guidelines with emphasis on hotel credit policy, PCI compliance.
  • Develop awareness and reputation of the Group and brand in the local community and promote team member involvement in community outreach efforts.
  • Ensure compliance to all Pro-invest security and safety standards. Including cyber/technology security such as password security.
  • Strictly adhere to company policy concerning the Trade Practices Act, gifts & bribery & data privacy regulations.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.


What You Need:

Non-negotiables

  • Microsoft suite proficient
  • 2 years of experience
  • Server & Network troubleshooting experience
  • End Point Protection experience
  • CCNA Networking certification desirable
  • ITIL Certifications are desirable. Hotel System Experience are desirable
