Job Overview:
In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly websites for our e-commerce clients. You will collaborate closely with designers and business stakeholders to ensure that our websites meet the unique needs of each online store.
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Development: Develop and maintain visually appealing and functional websites using
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ensure websites are responsive and provide an excellent user experience across all devices
- (desktops, tablets, and mobile).
- Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into clean, well-structured code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow developers.
- E-commerce Specifics: Work closely with store owners or managers to understand their business goals and translate them into effective website features.
- Assist in the implementation of new e-commerce features and functionalities (e.g., product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies.
- Professional Development: Continuously learn and expand your knowledge of web development technologies and best practices.
- Maintain a professional and collaborative working relationship with team members and clients.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional web development experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with at least one popular frontend framework/library (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Proficiency with Git and experience using platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Strong time management and adaptability.
- A portfolio of web design and development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, JQuery) and technologies (e.g., JSON, Ajax) is a plus.
