Why does this role exist?
We're seeking a Junior Construction Estimator to support the estimation process and project documentation using BuilderTrend. This role will assist in creating accurate construction estimates, material takeoffs, and maintaining organized project documentation. The position addresses the need for dedicated support in the estimating process while ensuring consistent use of BuilderTrend for construction management.

The Impact you’ll make

BuilderTrend Management

• Master BuilderTrend software for project management


• Input and maintain estimation data in BuilderTrend


• Generate reports and documentation through BuilderTrend


• Ensure optimal use of BuilderTrend features

Estimation Support

• Assist with construction estimates and takeoffs


• Review and organize project specifications


• Support bid preparation processes


• Calculate and verify measurements

Project Documentation

• Manage project documentation in BuilderTrend


• Maintain accurate records of estimates


• Organize project-related information


• Ensure data consistency across platforms

Material Takeoffs

• Perform quantity takeoffs for construction projects


• Calculate material requirements


• Document specifications and quantities


• Update takeoff information as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

• BuilderTrend proficiency or willingness to learn


• Basic understanding of construction estimating principles


• Familiarity with construction materials and terminology


• Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills


• Experience with digital documentation and organization

Work Setup:

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, working within US business hours (timezone to be determined by the client)

Compensation:
