The Digital Art Director or Senior Digital Designer is a digital-first thinker who is a subject matter expert in social media and highly intuitive storytelling on digital platforms, with a proven ability to use emerging technology to create disruptive and exciting creatives. This role will focus on developing strong, concept-driven creative assets for social and digital platforms, creating cohesive and immersive storytelling. He/she must be a multi-faceted creative native with in-depth experience in creative conceptualization, art direction, expert knowledge of social and digital platforms, and the proven ability to apply digital-first design principles to the final creative output. He/she must be a highly creative individual with extremely strong execution skills, the ability to work independently (off-site or remote from headquarters), must be responsible, proactive, flexible, driven, and a team player who embodies passion and a positive attitude.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversight of all digital creative assets released, ensuring that creative solutions meet our clients’ creative and brand standards, support strategic brand priorities, and key business needs.
- Conceptualization and content creation across social and digital platforms, ensuring accurate visual expression of campaign launch strategy and brand representation: concept, art direction, pre-and post-production of still and moving assets, on-model and product, motion graphics, animation, moving typographic treatments, etc.
- Develop design prototypes, and design UI/UX for web and mobile applications.
- Short-form video content for social (eg TikTok / IG Reels): creating relevant, engaging, and on-brand short-form videos from start to finish that feels native to the platform; providing oversight on short-form video content created with outside collaborators and agency partners.
- Quality assurance in the design application and output of all creative assets in partnership with internal and/or external teams/vendors.
- Management of team workflows; ensuring that deliverables are on-time.
- Ownership of delivering exceptional creative work on time, and on budget
Qualifications & Competencies
- At least 5 years related experience with 1+ years of that experience at an Art Director or Senior Digital Designer level at a creative agency with a focus on digital design and UX/UI.
- A strong multi-disciplinary background in art direction, motion & animation, social platforms, and design UI/UX.
- Fluent in existing and emerging social and digital platforms with the ability to execute using new technologies.
- Strong vision, skills, and comprehensive understanding of integrated storytelling.
- Strategic, big-picture thinker with the ability to produce highly conceptual work
- Demonstrates the skills to present creative concepts, find common-ground solutions, manage expectations, and execute ideas as aligned with cross-functional teammates or partners.
- Equally comfortable and able to provide effective oversight or be hands-on and execute projects independently.
- Consistently deliver high-quality work on time and with attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to be reactive, flexible, and resourceful under tight deadlines; thrive in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs to quickly identify solutions.
- Highly organized, responsible, passionate, collaborative, energetic, positive, and a self-starter, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to connect people, tell stories, and share experiences in new ways through interactive design.
