Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Operations Support & Data Analytics Specialist to join our pioneering team in Metro Manila. This role will be instrumental in supporting our IT systems while leveraging data analytics to drive business process improvements and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with a passion for data analysis and process optimization. You will collaborate closely with the Australian team and work cross-functionally with project, HR, finance, and admin teams.

Your Responsibilities

• IT Support & Systems Management
• Provide on-demand IT support to office staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user access, software licensing, and system performance for business platforms used by both companies.
• Recommend and implement system upgrades, workflow automation, and technology integrations that align with the company’s business needs.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and optimization of key business platforms, including project management, estimating, and finance systems.
• Business Analytics & Process Review
• Analyze existing business operations, procedures, and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of lost productivity.
• Use data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL) to measure:
• Operational waste
• Idle time or lost time
• Cost inefficiencies
• Process delays
• Build customized dashboards and reporting tools to track key business metrics in real-time, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Benchmarking & Performance Improvement
• Compare internal operational and cost data with industry standards and best practices to identify performance gaps.
• Propose actionable strategies to automate, digitize, or reengineer processes, improving operational efficiency, project performance, and cost management.
• Provide data-driven support to project and operations teams to aid in decision-making without interrupting business continuity.
• Collaboration & Reporting
• Work closely with the General Manager, project teams, estimators, HR/Finance, and admin staff to extract relevant data and insights.
• Present findings and recommendations in clear, concise, and visual formats to senior management.
• Maintain a collaborative, service-oriented approach to supporting departments across the organization.
  

What Our Client Is Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a dual-role IT/Data function, preferably within construction, manufacturing, or shared services industry
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Familiarity with cost-tracking, time-tracking, and project management software is highly advantageous.
• Ability to interpret both technical and financial data to inform operational decisions and performance improvements.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and proactively manage workload while supporting cross-functional teams.
