Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cisco Network Engineer to join our IT Team. The ideal candidate will be resposible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Cisco technologies and the ability to troubleshoot complex networking issues to ensure high availability and performance of our network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage Cisco network devices including router, switches, and firewalls
• Implement and maintin network security protocols and policies
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network updgrades and migrations
• Conduct regular network assessments and provide recommendations for improement
• Document network configurations, procedures and policies
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Provide support for network-related incidents and requests in a tmely manner
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to network engineering
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related work experience
• Cisco Certifed Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification is preferred
• Proven experience with Cisco networking equipment and technologies (e.g. IOS, ASA, Nexus)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other networking protocols
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network troubleshooting techniques
• Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skils
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN, ACI, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and Cisco ISO-XE
• Knowledge of scriptin languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for automation tasks
• Experience with cloud networking concepts and technologies, Azure networking preferred

• This position may require occasion on-call support and the ability to work outside regular business hours for maintenance and upgrades
