- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership across DevOps initiatives in multiple Scrum Teams.
- Work directly with different Scrum Teams to solve complex requests and technical challenges.
- Design and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
- Communicate, implement, and manage new process workflows and architecture diagrams to standardize practices across teams.
- Champion DevOps culture and best practices across departments, acting as a DevOps Evangelist.
- Mentor and guide DevOps team members, ensuring continuous skill growth and performance alignment.
- Monitor project-level DevOps metrics and drive continuous improvement in delivery efficiency.
- Administer and optimize the usage of DevOps tools across projects (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Collaborate with the DevOps Manager, architects, and security teams to align cloud infrastructure with organizational goals.
- Lead capacity planning, incident management, postmortems, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards in DevOps workflows.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging tools and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or related roles, including 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Expert-level scripting with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
- Advanced expertise in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Deep proficiency in source code management tools (e.g., Git, GitLab).
- Mastery of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity.
- Strong understanding of query languages (SQL, basic NoSQL concepts).
- Expert in observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Advanced hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Advanced knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and their DevOps integrations.
- Proficient in creating comprehensive reporting dashboards and real-time alerts to support decision-making and team performance monitoring.
- Expert in leveraging collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Confluence) to facilitate cross-functional communication and manage technical documentation.
- Deeply familiar with ticketing and workflow systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow), with experience in optimizing workflows, assigning tasks, and tracking incident resolution across DevOps and development teams.
