IT Database Administration Senior Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

To generate and maintain so called Super BOM structures in our product development system PLM/PD), ensures that these structures are aligned to the need of our CPQ product configurations and our ERP system item attribution. This function will ensure data consistency of the Super BOM and its attributes across our system modules PD/CPQ and EBS.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with representative from Engineering and Marketing to obtain configuration requirements, including product structure, routings, rules and restrictions to be able to help structure the Super BOM in PD with the right attributes.
• Assist in new product introduction by participating in design reviews and advising on Super BOM product structure that would assist in the configuration of product and attributes
• Maintain product Super BOM models to ensure that the resulting configured products can be manufactured.
• Collaborate with CPQ, Sales OPS, OPS and Engineering to ensure the testing and proofing of Super BOM's across system modules CPQ/EBS prior to release.
• Participate in the engineering change order processes to ensure all relevant changes are reflected in the Super BOMs.
• Assist Sales and Operations on issues related to product attribution related to Super BOMs
• Identifies customer needs through communication and probing.
• Creates solutions to customer problems. Provide sound recommendations to their queries. Provides resolution the first time.
• Assists customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication and closure of issues.
• Completes workload on time. Monitors if transactions are processed in a timely manner.
• Implements error-proofing method to ensure all transactions done are accurately
• Participates in CPQ Developer's team meetings, conferences calls, presentations and discussions with internal customers to understand NPD/project objectives or status and how it translates into the configuration.
• Adheres to shift schedules and attendance expectations to ensure consistent support to customers and a balanced workload for peers
• Coordinates with other teams/support to complete the request of customers.
• Monitors team service level and assists in workload distribution
• Conducts team/functional/business overview presentations during counterpart visits as required by team lead/supervisor.
• Assists colleagues in answering general escalations from customers

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree Major in Computer Science or Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of Master Data Management (Required).
• Knowledgeable of Oracle BOM structures and Oracle Item attributes (Required).
• Knowledgeable of Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Oracle PLM (PD) and Oracle EBS. (Preferred)
• Strong knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Excel (Preferred).
• Basic knowledge on Smartsheet and PowerBI (Preferred).
• Good understanding of manufacturing, and sales processes.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task, managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate with individuals from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight commitment to deadlines and deliverables.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong analytical ability needed.
