Job Description

The IT Business Design and Transformation Director performs a critical enabler role for the Globe’s IT organization.

The role is responsible for –

• Defining, refining and driving the IT strategy and its supporting programs across Globe’s ISG organization, in close collaboration with the group leadership team
• Evaluating ISG’s Operating Models vis-a-vis their effectiveness in achieving business and technology objectives, and provides recommendations to optimize results
• Developing IT thought leadership among the key Better IT roles, and co-champion Future-Ready people initiatives
  
  
  

Requirements

• TRENDS FORECASTING AND ANALYSIS - have a deep understanding of global and local IT industry trends to determine opportunities and risks to Globe
• TECHNOLOGY ADVISORY - provides expert guidance and insights to the CIO and the group leadership team to support IT roadmapping, investment prioritization and decision-making
• STRATEGY ORCHESTRATION - ensures that strategies are implemented, transformation priorities are carried out and blockers are addressed
  
  
  

Work Experience

• At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in Strategy Planning & Management, IT &/or Business Transformation
• Relevant experience in the following: Large-scale IT Program Design and Management, Enterprise Architecture, Governance
• Knowledge of different IT Services and Solutions and their application in broad industries
• Knowledge of strategic planning tools and frameworks
  
  
  

Skills

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to influence and guide teams on the implementation of strategic initiatives in alignment with desired outcomes and timelines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with solid business acumen to be able to quantify financial impact of technology decisions
• Familiarity with the technology and telecommunications domain, its processes, IT systems/technologies, operations, industry competitors and market trends
  
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management or a related field
• Master’s degree is an advantage
