Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our inventory processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory records, maintain stock levels, and streamline supply chain operations to meet company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages or overstock.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure consistency between physical counts and database records.
Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to forecast demand and manage inventory needs.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in storage and handling.
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Generate reports on inventory performance and present insights to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automated inventory systems or technologies (e.g., RFID).
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
