GoTeam is seeking a meticulous and insightful Internal Auditor to join our team. He/ She will evaluate risks, offer strategic insights, and collaborate with various departments to ensure operational efficiency.
What You Will Do
- Evaluate Risks: Utilize your keen eye for detail to conduct thorough audits of transactions, internal controls, and compliance with regulations. Identify areas of financial and legal risk and define the appropriate audit approach to safeguard our assets.
- Offer Insight and Advice: Generate valuable insights on key risks, propose areas of audit focus, and communicate key findings to drive continuous improvement in our internal controls and risk management practices.
- Work with Departments: Collaborate with various departments to review operations closely and provide leadership and administrative direction to maximize business efficiencies.
- Other Adhoc/Projects related to Audit: Lead adhoc projects related to audits, including auditing expenses, creating finance process manuals, and providing suggestions to improve financial procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in auditing, accounting, or finance-related roles, with at least 2 years of solid experience in either external or internal audit positions
- Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
- Amenable to work in the office for the first 2 months, transition to Hybrid set-up after
