POSITION PURPOSE
As an Intermediate Bookkeeper you are responsible for delivering the compliance requirements of their business' financial foundations through precise month end reviews and ensuring they are compliant with their obligations by processing accounting tasks such as month end, activity statements and other compliance lodgements. You will support clients by ensuring that their management pack and compliance obligations are completed on time and to the high standard required.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS / INTERACTIONS
Preparation of client end of month finalisation.

Preparation of client end of month finalisation.
- Lodgement of Monthly Payroll Tax declarations
- Processing of quarterly superannuation obligations.
- Preparation of Annual Single Touch Payroll finalisation.
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments on a weekly/monthly basis – If required
- Reconciling bank statements in Xero / MYOB on a weekly basis – if required

At least two years of experience in Australian bookkeeping, ideally within a public practice environment or dealing with multiple clients.
- Basic knowledge of Australian GST requirements.
- Basic proficiency working with Xero, Xero Payroll and knowledge of other accounting software tools
- MYOB experience preferable
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- A strong ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Great written and verbal communication skill.
