Title: Integration Consultant (Mulesoft)

We are looking for a Integration Consultant (Mulesoft) with expertise in MuleSoft to design, develop, and optimize APIs for seamless integration across enterprise systems. This role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, and developers to build scalable and high-performing solutions while ensuring system stability and reliability.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing existing integrations, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements in API performance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and developers, to design and implement integration solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
• Support Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, ensuring system stability and issue resolution.
• Implement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Manage API lifecycle, including versioning, monitoring, and maintaining documentation.
• Contribute to testing and deployment processes, following best practices for reliability and performance.
• Identify and implement improvements, optimizing API performance and development efficiency.

API Development & Optimization

• Develop APIs based on business requirements.

Business-as-Usual (BAU) Support & Issue Resolution

• Monitor and resolve API-related issues within SLA timelines.
• Maintain documentation of resolved issues and improvements.
• Work closely with the support team to minimize disruptions.
• Resolve 95% of API-related incidents within SLA timelines.
• Maintain a backlog of less than 5 unresolved critical issues at any given time.
  
  

API Performance Monitoring & Security Compliance

• Regularly monitor API performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Ensure APIs comply with security policies and best practices.
• Conduct security audits and implement recommendations.
• Proactively identify and resolve 80% of API performance issues before they impact users.
• Ensure 100% compliance with security policies, including OAuth, JWT, and data encryption.
• Conduct at least quarterly security audits and implement recommendations within defined timelines.
  
  

Collaboration & Cross-functional Teamwork

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve integration processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date API documentation.
• Conduct peer code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Participate in at least 95% of project meetings and provide meaningful contributions.
• Ensure 100% documentation of technical designs, API updates, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Complete peer code reviews for at least 90% of assigned tasks.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in MuleSoft development and API management.
• Total of 10 years working experience in Software Development.
• Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
• Hands-on experience with DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, and RESTful API development.
• Experience in monitoring and managing API alerts, ensuring proactive system maintenance.
• Familiarity with integration patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues and implementing effective resolutions.
• Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig (Hybrid Work Setup).
