Integrated Designer/ Multimedia Designer

Purpose of the Job

The Integrated Designer is responsible for developing and executing concepts from creative briefs, effectively interpreting customer design specs and layouts, executing production-ready files, image manipulation, comp retouching, and quality Inspection.

The ideal candidate possesses proven design and layout skills across digital, print, and motion. Demonstrating a keen attention to detail, understands and follows brand and legal mandatory guidelines, has a strong knowledge of print and digital specs, and is able to maintain a superior degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The Integrated Designer works efficiently and collaborates as needed within a team of designers to meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops design concepts from creative briefs under the Lead Designer or Art Director's supervision
• Understands how to interpret and execute on the strategy of a creative brief
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and ability to present concepts to Lead Designer/Art Director
• Executes advanced skills in layout, building mechanicals, typography, and asset management
• Expert in Adobe CS software, MAC OS, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Workfront software
• Proofreads copy revisions and inspects document construction and accuracy of layout
• Creates final production files for retail POS, Print and OOH using InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Inspects and pre-flights all file elements including image resolution, file integrity, and proper set-up
• Answers specific job-related, technical questions
• Reports deviations in job deadlines and proposes solutions to Team Leads or Supervisors
• Review daily schedule to understand daily requirements
• Ensures file is compliant with brand guidelines, legal mandatories, and copy decks
• Assists the Art Director, Lead Designer, or Studio Manager on assignments as requested
  
  

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• 5+ years of design, concept development, mechanical assembly, comp retouching, and typography, experience required
• Comp retouching skills are essential
• Comp Illustration skills a plus
• Creative agency experience a plus
• Some prepress print production experience preferred
• Static digital production and motion graphics animation experience a plus
• Perform successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines
