As an Insurance Coordinator, you will:
- Order, upload, and organize insurance documents using Point systems and other applications
- Review Homeowner’s, Flood, and Condo Master Insurance Policies for accuracy and adequate coverage
- Manage a pipeline of files in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate and follow-up with homeowners promptly on obtaining necessary documentation and assist with any issues that arise with the property insurance
- Communicate and follow-up with insurance companies to effectively manage the insurance order
- Effectively escalate any insurance order issues to the appropriate parties
- Work with cross-functional teams (processors, closers, and funders) to successfully bring an application to close
- Assist servicing department with amending the loss payee once funding has occurred
Non-negotiables
- 1+ years as mortgage processor, escrow assistant, insurance agent, or related field
- Experience in the real estate and/or mortgage industry desirable but not required
- Strong Command in Customer Service
- Familiarity with US Real Estate and Mortgage processing
- Detail oriented
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
